Book Illustrations

The cost for a custom book illustration is $850.00 USD.

A confirmed payment of a $100 secures your slot.

A final invoice will be attached with the final files. Payment info is listed at the bottom of the invoice. Payment that is not received or in route two weeks from when the final files are delivered will have their invoice bill doubled.

I don‘t provide any refunds for completed commissions, but will consider partial refunds if for any reason you want to cancel your commission during the process. This works on a case to case basis.

Not only is it important to me to get you a piece that you love but also to get it to you in a timely manner. The design process works as fast as you respond to the updated edits. Please note that per my policy, if a commission goes beyond the allotted timeframe, the price for any unfinished pieces doubles.

1. Text - I can’t wait to read your book! In order for me to start the illustrations, I need to read through the story, and see what grabs your visual attention. Send me all of the text labeled by page, page side and any notes on illustrations you have in mind

3. Book Size: Popular children books sizes are: Portrait 5.5″ x 8.5″ , 6″ x 9″ , 6.14″ x 9.21″ , 7″ x 10″ , 8 x 10″, 8.5″ x 11″ or square 8.5″ x 8.5″

4. Logos and graphics: Any logos or graphics from publishers or authors need to be Transparent .PNG Logos and high resolution graphics (300 DPI +)

5. Colors: Official Color Pantone’s or preferences

6. Style: Watercolor, outlined, Full color, playful

7. Deadline: date needed for illustrations to be done

4. Read Through the Story (if applicable)

5. Sketch, Feedback, Edits, + Approval via Client Portal

6. Finalize Artwork + Invoice
